We offer a wide range of laboratory testing. Laboratory tests help us determine the underlying cause of disease. They help us diagnose current pathologies and monitor response to treatment.

Laboratory testing also helps to prevent disease through screening tests, and the establishment of baseline values.

Although there are normal ranges for a population, it is best to determine your personal normal values while you are healthy. Naturopathic Doctors can order tests/blood work through Ontario Life Labs. Tests include, but are not limited to:

Blood Tests

We offer a variety of blood testing, including:

Urine Tests

Food Allergy Testing

Food allergy testing can be run at an outside lab, with a serum blood test measuring IgG and IgE antibodies. Both tests provide sensitivity measurements against 96 different foods, spices, herbs, and inhalant particles, providing you with a detailed report of your sensitivities.

Saliva & Hormone Testing

At AIHC, we measure hormones in three ways: salivary, urinary and blood. Hormones we can test include:
